Goshen High School Athletics

The Goshen varsity boys soccer team won the first game of the Penn Soccer Invitational 4-0 against Ft. Wayne Northrop. Goals were scored by Mario Fernandez (2), Yurem Hernandez, and Fabricio Hernandez. Assists were provided by Yurem Hernandez (2), Chino Torres, and Caleb Cervantes. The second game against Chesterton ended in a 0-0 draw. Goshen's record now stands at 7-1-1 (3-0 in conference). The RedHawks are back in action at home on Monday as they take on Mishawaka with a start time of 6:00pm. The Goshen boys JV soccer team recorded a 3-1 win against Ft. Wayne Northrop. Goals were scored by Angel Gonzalez (2) and Oliver Herrera. Assists were provided by Oliver Herrera and Manny Pizana. The JV team won their second game of the day 3-0 against Chesterton. Goals were scored by Oliver Herrera, Alan Hernandez-Barrera, and Julio Rodriguez. Oliver Herrera provided an assist. The JV record now stands at 4-3-2. The JV RedHawks are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to take on Bethany Christian.
